It’s an Excellent Fishing Knot to Try | Tying a Fishing Hook by Double Fisherman’s Bend

The Double Fisherman’s, or Grapevine, Bend is an Excellent Fishing Knot to tie as any fishing hook as two ropes together. It’s very reliable, especially if it formed from braided fishing line. Using fluorocarbon fishing line I would suggest using triple Fisherman’s Bend that forms winding the line three times around the finger and main line.
